Kollywood`s `Action King` Arjun has teamed up with Bollywood action choreographer turned director Tinu Varma, to do an all-out action film Kaatu Puli in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
Tinu Varma is Bollywood`s renowned action choreographer who did action scenes in Amitabh Bachchan films in the late 70`s and 80`s.
And now, Tinu who has won seven Filmfare Awards for his action choreography is turning director with Kaatu Puli.
Arjun says he has a very exciting role in Kaatu Puli. Arjun says: “We shot the film in the Thalakottam forest and it was very exciting. I play a doctor who is part of a team that heads into the forest on a secret mission. The adventure and action in the forest forms rest of the story.”
The cast include Rajneesh, Sayali Bhagat, Anaya and Priyanka Desai. The action-packed entertainer had problems with censors and was finally given an A certificate. The film is expected to taken a good opening after the success of Mankatha which had Arjun playing a prominent role.
