The action king Arjun is giving final touches to the huge Hanuman statue at his Porur farm house.

The Hanuman statue of 23 feet height, 17 feet width and 160 tons prepare at Kaira village in Doddaballapur from sculptor Ashok Gudigere traveled to Chennai a few months ago. Lifting the statue from one position and making it sit is a big task. Then the final carvings have to be done. It all takes eight more months and by probably August next year the statue of Lord Hanuman will be installed says actor Arjun. He was speaking to media persons after the briefing of the ‘Kontract’ film launch.

Any small work for the installation means it takes months. Now the process is to make it to the straight position. There are very delicate work process says Arjun.

‘Hanuman’ statue that is getting the final touches in Chennai is dedicated to my father late Shakthi Prasad says Arjun. This is what my father Sri Shakthi Prasad was doing had he lived. As a son even in the family I have done what he was supposed to do he pointed.

The statue of ‘Hanuman’ will be kept for public and tourists. This is the biggest statue in the country and one at Namakkal is in standing posture while one at Porur will be sitting posture of Lord Hanuman. A big event is taking place at the unveiling ceremony of the statue says Arjun.
