Arjun has confirmed that he would soon start
working on a film for Aascar V Ravichandran, one of the leading
producers of Tamil cinema. "I will direct the movie, besides playing the
lead role," said the 'Action King'.
"An official announcement in this regard will be made
soon. Also, by this year end, I should probably start directing a Hindi
movie," said the actor, who last year made waves by playing a crucial
role in Ajith's 'Mankatha'.
Arjun's
Kannada flick 'Prasad', which made his presence felt at the coveted
Berlin film festival recently, will soon be released in Tamil. Music for
the movie is by Ilayaraja. "I play a middle-class father in Prasad,"
reveals Arjun.
Meanwhile, Arjun
is playing a role inspired by top police officer Vijayakumar in 'Vana
Yudhdham', a biopic on forest brigand Veerappan, being helmed by AMR
Ramesh. "It is a great role and I had the privilege of interacting with
Vijayakumar," says Arjun.
