The entire media is on toes on guessing the story of Mankatha, Thala Ajith’s 50th film. Director Venkat Prabhu has come out with a clarification on what Mankatha is all about.
Venkat Prabhu says “Yes, as guessed by the media the basic plot of Mankatha runs on gambling but the entire film doesn’t revolve on cricket betting. In fact the film deals about all sorts of gambling that are taking place”.
On talking about Arjun’s role he said “The sequences of Arjun are going to be the highlight of the film since he is playing a cop who is behind Ajith. In a particular scene Thala would be calling him Action King”.
Currently the unit of Mankatha is in Bangkok for shooting the pending scenes, a lengthy fight sequence and also a song.
The teaser trailer garnered high response, with the song being planned to be released as a single track during this week. The first theatrical trailer is going to be screened during the intermission time of Azhagiri Saamiyin Kudhirai film, which got released today.
