Finally, Arjun has stepped in and confirmed his Vallakottai as his Diwali release.
Earlier, two of his films where he plays the role of a cop Maasi and Vallakottai had announced that they are releasing for Diwali.
When the trade objected saying that both the films look similar as they are action movies with hero playing cop and following the predictable formula, a meeting was arranged between both the producers.
Now with Arjun making his preference for Vallakottai clear, the director A Venkatesh and the producer has announced the release date as November 5.
As per the Chennai theatre listing, Vallakottai is going to release in 14 city screens, surely a record for an Arjun film!
